Eagle Multi-Purpose Cooperative (EMC)was registered on October 29, 1992 as a Primary leveI non-agricuIturaI cooperative. With an office and plant address at Km. 11 McArthur Highway, Bago Aplaya, Talomo District, Davao City. First as a Manufacture of PIastic Sack and on April 1994 EMC embarked on producing Vermicelli Noodles (Bihon). In 2006. exactly (16) years of operation the Sack Factory stopped its operation due to Iow demand and the influx of imported and cheaper but Iow quality sacks from China affected our operation. While Sack Manufacturing closed down, Bihon production thrived and continued to be One of the leading Bihon producer and distributors in Mindanao up to the present.
